Duck walks! A simple way to build leg strength and mobility at home or in the gym

Duck walks are a simple but incredibly effective leg exercise that you can do at the gym, at home, or anywhere you have space to walk! They are great for building the unique leg strength and mobility that comes from training low-to-the-ground movements!

Five ways you can do duck walks!:

  • Forward duck walks (standard)
  • Sideways duck walks (extra adductor/abductor development)
  • Sweeping duck walks
  • Backwards duck walks (increased challenge)
  • Backwards sweeping duck walks

All variations can be performed with or without weights. These exercises are a great addition to your fitness and training, especially if you’re looking to increase your mobility. Great for anybody but particularly useful for people who participate in sports or activities that require low movements, such as traditional martial artists, wrestlers, and other kinds of grapplers.
